I started writing for WOL back in 2021, beginning with the Fifty1 Writing Team, and more recently joining the Olympians Writing Team as well.
Every year, 12 writers are assembled for each team to collaboratively write a total of 48 lessons (four lessons per writer) — a full year’s worth of student ministry curriculum that will be used to teach children and teenagers about Jesus in over 81 countries across the globe!
As the wife of a former youth pastor, this has been a great way for me to continue serving students in a new capacity while utilizing the talents and spiritual giftings that God’s given me. It’s also allowed me to grow as a writer and to gain experience working alongside editors, project supervisors, and co-writers.

Participation in Writing Team does require one (1) week of travel per year, with expenses for transportation, lodging, and meals covered.
